Employee Spotlight - Leslie Brewer

Leslie Brewer joined First Community Title in June of 2007.  First hired as an escrow assistant, she showed her potential and was quickly promoted to escrow officer.  She offices at our Salado location, but often travels the county to close transactions for her clients.

Born in Grove City, Ohio her parents dreamed of the pageant life for her.  She on the other hand was more interested in her horses, her pets (including a mouse named Sylvester!), and having manure fights with other  children in the barn.  Since she was a teen, she has dreamed of riding on a cattle drive through Montana.  "It's on my bucket list!"  She has a fondness for animals, having been a veterinary technician before her children were born.  She has also jumped horses and ridden endurance.

Leslie has two children, Jessica 13, a son Casey, 10, and Lola, a Boston Terrier mix she adopted from the shelter.  Leslie chose her daughter's name after watching "Man From Snowy River", impressed by "Jessica", a strong woman in the movie.

Leslie is engaged to Jeff White, who is currently serving  in Afghanistan in Division Outreach.  He has a daughter, Katie 16. Jeff adopted Toby, one of the FCT boxer puppies this past winter.  Toby is having his way with Leslie backyard until Jeff returns, chewing up sprinklers and cell phones, and what ever else is in his path.  They have a May wedding planned for 2012.

Favorite Movie:  The Horse Whisperer
Favorite Meal:  Las Casas on the patio
Chicken Fajitas and a margarita watching football
