Jennifer Ramirez Employee Spotlight

Jennifer Ramirez has been in the real estate business in some form since she was a senior in High School.  She has been in the title business since 1993 and has been a closer with First Community Title since June of 2004.

There are several misconceptions about our Jennifer.
1.       Some think of Jennifer as quiet and passive.
In the work place Jennifer may seem reserved. However, when she is on her own time, she can be quite animated.  Just ask her why she was banned from the Killeen Applebee’s!
2.       She is often thought to be of Hispanic heritage.
Not even close.  Her Korean mother and her Caucasian father, met when he was in the military in Korea.  Her mother didn’t speak English until she taught herself by watching cartoons, soap operas, and professional wrestling on TV.  “Harmony”, Korean for Grandmother, passed away just a year ago.

Born in Newport, Rhode Island, Jennifer and her family moved to Killeen when she was just a baby.  Her father still lives in the same house today.   Her older brother Chris was born when her parents lived in Germany.  Eight years after the move to Killeen, Jennifer’s little sister, Angela was born.  Jennifer is mother to a six year old auto expert, Esteban or “Stevie”, and aunt to 10 nieces and nephews.

Jennifer is quick to admit that she is not a good cook and that her idea of dream vacation is just relaxing.  She believes in ghosts and loves to read, especially Stephen King novels.  She gained a love for Elvis and his music from her parents who filled their home with music from “The King” and the Beetles.
